House Refurbishment
The brief by the clients for this complete refurbishment of a whole house was to “reflect the minimalist styles of the Hotels they stay in as they travel the world remembering it was still a home and somewhere their family would feel comfortable”

The before pictures of the main bedroom and en suite reflect what the rest of the house looked like. After being a busy family home for 15 years our task was to up date it, de clutter it and provide significant storage space both for their personal possessions but also files and records from their various business interests.

Main bedroom and en-suite
The sliding wardrobe doors are in walnut with internal fittings in oak, the floor is American oak whilst the carpet is an Indian hand made wool. There are a range of fabrics and textures in the soft furnishings to reflect the luxurious minimalist style required in the brief.

The curved wooden floor flows through into the bathroom. It brings the two rooms together. The bathroom is designed to act as very functional ‘up and out’ with remote lighting options to create a relaxing comfortable space after a busy trip.

Kitchen
We designed and specified this top of the range ‘Systemat’ kitchen with ‘blue eyes', granite work surfaces. We have incorporated larder cupboards and big pull out pan drawers to maximise storage but maintain accessibility.

Office
The clients work at home and needed more storage for the ever growing number of files and records. We designed and specified these oak units to meet the brief. The existing work station desk was refurbished with a tough, durable paint finish.

Sitting Room
A space to really relax in centred around the fireplace.
The themes of wooden floors natural fabrics and textures was continued throughout the rest of the house with special attention to lighting the art (works) that had recently been acquired. The colours are muted mainly ‘Fired Earth’ with strong accents developed with unusual papers and wall coverings.
